INVITATION FROM RKSS MUMBAI

An Appeal

Dear Samaajabandavare

Rama Kshathriya Seva Sangha (RKSS), Mangalore, is a premier forum for people belongs to Ramakshatriya community in and around Mangalore. The sangha is founded with a vision of serving the economically backward people of our community and this has been successful in elevating many families of our community by helping them in educating their kids or giving them medical aid or helping them in other needy occasions. This was possible only with your generous contributions and timely help for which we owe you all a big Thank you!!

Because of our work, RKSS is now known to every one in our community. Each year, the request for financial help is mounting and we are not able to support many of our community people, which is very sad. As you all know we have limited resources and the same will be distributed among the most deserving a few requester and others are sent with negative response due to lack of funds.

Recent times, in this competitive world, helping in educating the kids of economically backward people can only bring up our community and in particularly our younger generation. We need your help to build our community by supporting these families. The other aspect of the life is good health. Giving medical aid to the economically backward people will help them to keep fit to earn their daily bread. Keeping in view of these important needs of our community, we have Education Fund which support the economically backward students of our community and help them to build their future. And the Medical Aid Fund, keeps the needy families fit to earn their daily bread.

All of you have been generous in the past and we now look forward to your kind contributions to make these two funds more robust. We will be happy if you could kindly send your contributions by way of Cheques/Bank drafts to our office or you can directly deposit to our bank account number: 6515 at Canara Bank, Morgans Gate Branch, Mangalore.

Thank you and we look forward to your generous contribution with good wishes on our community.

Yours sincerely,

Ramachandra K.S

President

Dowry system - By Soumya H

In today's generation dowry deaths are increasing constantly. I request our young youths to take a firm decision as not to accept dowry. Now a days all are well educated, earn very well, so what's the point in accepting dowry and harassing? Both girls and boys earn equally, rather in most cases wives earn more than her husband and taking dowry is just shameless act. I once again request our Sangha members to spread this word to everybody and let all of us join hands and say "NO" to dowry.Let Women live peacefully in this World by abolishing Dowry.
